On May 12th, 2009 at approximately 1:40 pm, a women received a telephone call from a male stating that he was representing Bell Canada. The male caller advised the female that she had won an alarm system for her house. The caller then asked her when she would be home because he wanted to send someone to the house to install the alarm. The female was very suspicious of the call and contacted Bell Canada who informed her that they were not aware of any prizes that they were giving away knew or who the caller was trying to pass them selves as a Bell Canada representative.
