Sometime over night on August 27th 2008, the business located on Main St W was forcibly entered. Once inside the business the suspect(s) removed computer towers, monitors, tools and a small amount of cash. Upon further investigation it was determined that the property fence had been pried open. On May 2, 2008 at around 6:30 pm a young male attended the Concession Road #8 property inquiring about an ATV that was for sale. The owner of the ATV started the machine for the interested party. This suspect then rode it out onto the road and sped away in an easterly direction. The vehicle and driver who had dropped the suspect male off also sped away. Both vehicles were then observed returning past the victim’s property, this time in a westerly direction on Concession Road 8. The suspect in this case is described as a white male about 5’8” tall with short strawberry blond hair and blue eyes wearing a coat and blue jeans. The suspect vehicle is described as a black, newer model Chevrolet Avalanche. Culprits then stole the ATV which is described as being a green 2000 Yamaha 600 Grizzly with a ball-hitch and winch on the front, an aftermarket fender on the back, oversized mud tires and a green windscreen. The lone male driver of the vehicle pointed what appeared to be a firearm and demanded cash. The suspect fled westbound on Indian Line after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect in this case is described as being a male with a slim build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark ball cap, red bandana, dark sunglasses and dark cloth gloves. Once inside the suspects drove an unknown semi-tractor truck into the yard and hooked onto a trailer already loaded with lumber. The suspect left the scene eastbound on Concession 10. The trailer is a 1998 blue TITA TRA valued at ,000.00 and was loaded with assorted pieces of lumber valued at over ,000.00. The lumber is covered with plastic labelled TFI. The employee, who had an undisclosed amount of money, was able to get into her vehicle, lock the doors and start the engine of her vehicle before both suspects fled the scene on foot. They were last seen running in the alley behind the pizza place. The first suspect is described as being 5’6” tall with a medium build and the second suspect is described as being 5’8” tall with a skinny build. Both suspects were wearing dark clothing and ski masks. Robbery at Jarvis Food MarketOn December 12, 2005 at approximately 8:15 PM a man armed with a rifle and wearing a black ski mask entered the Jarvis Food Market located on Main St North in Jarvis in Haldimand County. He approached an employee and handed her a note demanding that cash be place in a duffle bag. A customer was able to leave the scene unharmed. As the employee began emptying the tills, the suspect went to the LCBO outlet inside the store and took a 3 litre bottle of Crown Royal. He then returned to the front counter, grabbed the duffle bag and escaped through the front door. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’ 10” to 6 feet tall, with a medium build, wearing blue coveralls and a black ski mask.
